Casual Tokyo get together.

A few of us have been messaging via two group message threads, lets tie it together here (also easier to read).

 

*At the moment we trying to ascertain which dates are free for people.

*expatinjapan suggested a space (¥1000 per person).

Onizukajp may have a place we can rent in Ebisu.

 

Arnaud has a place in Idasbashi (sounds cheap n roomy-Perfect).

`In regards to meet place, actually i know a place.. It's in iidabashi (2min from jr station exit), there are 24 chairs, 6-8 tables, it can easily hold 40 people ( standing) so it would be plenty. Only issue is that it's often used for seminars so as of now open days are:
- june 10: from 1PM (until whenever)
- july 1,7: all day
- july 8: from 1PM`

Skoog aka Allen is available June 17th, 23rd 30th as well as July 1st.

I added my availability to the Google spreadsheet. My availability in June is good. July is not. A lot depends on where/when we decide to meet. Somewhere that would not exclude children would be best.

We are getting on in June and seems that most people have added their dates on the google doc. Can we decide on a date, place and time soon?

It looks like June 23rd will be the date most ppl can make it (assuming no one drops out). We'll just have to work out where and when next.

ExpatinJapan, hope you'll be well. As for me, I may be able to drop by just to say hi with my 2 year old if I can make arrangements for her little sister... Not guaranteed but I'll try so keep me posted on the location.

I won't be able to make the meet on the 23rd. Almost forgot it was my official Japanese marriage documentation submission anniversary or as my wife likes to call it our "wedding anniversary". I have updated the attendance sheet. Sorry again guys. Hope to see you at the next meet.

No location and time set yet. As for number of ppl, I've already created a column to count the number of ppl who could make it on the day. I counted manually so I may had miscounted for some days. However anyone who updates their status on the spreadsheet, please also update the count column...thank you.

Edit: in addition, as I'll be busy until the 17th June, I probably won't be able to do much in terms of organizing the location & time until I come back on 18th. By that time though it may be cutting it close for me to try to organize a venue.

If someone could help in booking a venue & time, that's greatly appreciated.

It's in the Google Docs spreadsheet but I don't know if anyone has updated it yet. As for the other bigger place, that member who can access that 2nd location isn't able to attend on the 23rd.

They have minimal openings for time unfortunately.

 

 

These are times on the 23rd at Shibuya cafe miyayama

9am -12pm

and

1:30-3pm
