Lantos 3D ear scanning technology

Has anyone tried something like this or know a manufacture or IEMs that may take this over a traditional casting?

At the moment most IEM product manufactures and ear mold labs are not readily using the Lantos 3D Ear Scannor.  However it is being marketed to hearing aid product companies.

 

H.E.A.R.(Hearing Education and Awareness for Rockers) Foundation ( www.hearnet.com) has contacted Lantos about their 3D Ear Scannor. As it stands now, ear impressions taking is an art form and not all ear impression are the same. It is much like making a sculpture of the inside of the ears. But, I am sure that 3D ear scanning will also come into being quickly and it too will take some talent and understanding of the ears.

Looks like the time is now. I am going to swing by there main office soon and have a look but unfortunately they cannot make a mold for me at this time
