Does email notification work?

I've setup my account to get email notification of private messages and thread updates, but I never receive a single email from Head-Fi.

 

I've checked spam and nothing there. I have to manually return to the site to check for PMs.

 

Any ideas?

 

EDIT:::

 

I changed my email address to an old hotmail and got the verification email

 

changed it back to gmail and nothing.

 

is it a problem with using a gmail address?

Gmail should work fine, but I'll take a look to see what I can find out.

Hi Joe,

 

I received an email earlier today about a PM and just now I re-sent the verification email and got it.
