I have an AKG K1000 in excellent condition. The SN is a touch over 10,000. As will be true with any used K1000, the earpads are a little worn. But the head band, the grills, etc. are all perfect. I have the original box (it is the lighter brown box), the original AKG 4-pin --> speaker taps cables (2x), and the original AKG 4-pin --> 1/4 adapter. I also have the original manual.
I would consider trade offers, although since I am shifting towards electrostats, I would strongly prefer electrostatic amps / headphones. Something like a KGSS would be seriously considered.
I have 100% feedback on audiogon, ebay, and here (and had pages of 100% feedback here which should be somewhere in the archives), so buy with confidence.
