What are some of your guys favorite tracks?

I love Eclipse as well as Winter Lane.

Also let me add, that dark headphones do Nujabes no justice :3

Off the top of my head I would say Feather. However, I like a lot of his tracks, I just can't remember their titles.

Love Nujabes. Metaphorical Music is my favorite album.

Gotta love Nujabes, feather and folklore.

I got introduced to Nujabes by way of his work in the anime Samurai Champloo and from that comes my favorite song "Araurian Dance", but I also really like "Light on the Land" and "Feather" from Modal Soul.

Same, that is a great OST too [all 4 discs]

I also found out today his music is best enjoyed clean, no EQ no bass boost just all Jun Seba and  nothing elese! For a long time all his tracks sounded kinda cramped and sounded like it was being played ina small room or through walls... turns out my E6 3'd or "purple" light setting is best! where as EQ2 makes the bass too much ^^ so I'm extra happy

Modal Soul Classics II is a great album, it's remixes after his death. Most of them are very true to his style and very nice!

^^ very nice, yea Nujabes is some great stuff! I give you one warning though

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE Japanese Gangsta-Jay-Z

I guess this Jay-Z guy though it would be good for him to rap over Nujabes... but it's horriable garbage!

I like a good number of the Rap and Hip Hop vocal tracks with his [Jun's]  albums, a good number of them have 0 profanity [and they aren't "clean"] which is nice, I always enjoy having to pull out a dictionary because my favorite rapper just used a word I didn't know ;3

and in case you didn't know the Composer Jun Seba is no longer with us and Nujabes is his name backwars

As a drummer I've long been fascinated by the potential of hip hop, but until recently most of what I'd been exposed to was only really mainstream or gangsta type stuff, which I find obnoxious. Lately I'm finally starting to discover stuff that I can get into. I wish there were more live musicians, namely acoustic drummers, doing similar types of music as well. The rhythmic possibilities of jazz and hip hop together are just boundless and tickle my fancy to no end.

Yes, I knew. frown.gif Further reasons for me to be upset with our horribly designed cities and transportation systems. One thing I'm not straight on though is how exactly do you pronounce his name (not his real one)? I've been assuming in my head that one would use Japanese pronunciation.

Japanese pronunciation would be 'Nuh dja beh suh', where the last 'suh' would have a more or less silent vowel.

This is also more ore less what I do.

That's pretty much how I've been saying it in my head.
