ASUS Xonar DG help

So I've recently installed my Xonar DG sound card. I have some questions on a few things.

 

1. Is there a way to save settings/profiles with the Audio Centre used for it?

2. Should I be using the 7.1 Virtual Speaker Shifter while Dolby Headphone is enabled?

3. Why does Dolby Headphone make some applications so much louder? e.g. Ventrilo.

 

Edit: I'm using the Xonar DG with my Sennheiser HD598s.

Edit: I'm using the Xonar DG with my Sennheiser HD598s.

The Xonar control panel does not change settings on it's own.

They stays at whatever setting you put it at.

Does it switch to something you did not set it for?

It auto switches the inputs but it will not keep Dolby Headphones enabled. I'll always have to enable it every time I plug in my headphones.

 

As for smart volume. No, I don't have it enabled but I'll try it now!

 

Edit: for some reason it keeps Smart Volume enabled when I switch inputs.

line in (green one) = speakers.

 

that's all, and my second input are my headphones.
