Best SQ? You need to stretch your budget for that. $50-$100 will get some halfway decent budget earphones, and we would need more info to help. As in what you're looking for, bassy, clarity, soundstage, warm, analytical, what music you listen to, whether or not you'd be willing to buy an amp, etc. The more details we know, the better we can help. And best is subjective based off sound preference.

Do you want traditional earbuds, or in the ear canal isolating earphones(IEMs)?

In addition to above post, it also depends on your source file (mp3, loseless, 24bit/96 & etc) and player. There is no point spending a fortune on headphone if you are playing 128 mp3 from a cellphone. Assuming you are interested im IEMs, S4 & Bose IE2 are pretty decent within mentioned budget.

Regarding sound quality, you usually get what you paid for in headphones. Headphones from reputable companies within a price range usually have same sound quality but different characters, which is good for specific type of music.smily_headphones1.gif

I'm going to take it as you're looking for a good IEM in the $50-$100 range.

You could make a start by looking through Joker's multi-IEM review thread as I'm sure he's reviewed all the obvious contenders that people will suggest.

As for what I'd suggest in the sub-$100 range, go for either the Vsonic GR06 or maybe Etymotic HF5. smile.gif

Also, you need to tell us what genres you listen to and what sound you prefer..

While searching some earphones I came across with these IEM. What do you guys think of Head-Direct RE0  or  Head-Direct (HiFiMan) RE-ZERO  or Sunrise SW-Xcape v. 1.

These are what exactly what I am looking for. If you guys have something in mind please let me know before I get these.

Thank you

There isn't a true best earphone, it's all personal opinion. That being said, I guess the HF5 is the best to me around that price range ;)

Hmm..Can you please give me a link on where I can buy one? By the way I live in Canada so I think this is going to cost more than a $100. Since US price is a lot lower than Canadian price.

Thanks.

go through joker's multi iem review.

I should think the VSONIC GR06 would be the best decision.

The Vsonic R04 Pro updated version is the new RE0, it easily surpasses the RE0 and competes with the Sony EX600 and Vsonic GR07.

Hey Kiteki

Thanks! But I just want to make sure if that's the genuine version because it's really cheap looks to good to be true. Is that really the original price? Can anyone confirm this?

Vsonic is a brand in China, and they aren't any fakes around... hardly do you see a Chinese fake of a Chinese product.
