For Sale:
TF10 Drivers. Huge price drop **PENDING**

Will Ship To: CONUS

I've have these sitting on my desk for a while now and haven't used them due to fit issues and channel dropouts. The left channel drops out sometimes when I walk around. I emailed Kaysen about this, and she said it was likely a solder joint that just needed to be redone. I think it might be that the female pin plugs are a little too loose (left channel feels easier to insert than right). In any case, it should be easily fixable when you have them reshelled, as the actual drivers are working fine. Make sure to mention this to the re-sheller though so they are aware and can make sure to test it before they send it back to you.

I am also including a Null Audio Lune cable and a Chris Himself silver cable. Lune cable is pictured, I'll try to snap some additional ones of the Chris Himself cable later on.

Comes inside a real nice pelican 1010 case, too.

I would prefer to sell this as a package, but would consider splitting it up if there's enough interest. Shoot me a PM and we can discuss. I am open to offers, but please avoid the super lowball offers. If I can't get somewhere around my asking price, I might as well part everything out and keep the TF10 as badass earplugs.

Pics of the Chris Himself cable are now up. The Lune cable has a Viablue plug, the CH cable has a Neutrik right angle plug. The CH cable also has cocobolo splitter and cable management.

Part out prices are as follows:
Null Audio Lune cable: 80 shipped SOLD
Chris Himself silver cable: 60 shipped
Drivers: 60 50 shipped
Take both CH cable and the drivers for 105 shipped

IMPORTANT UPDATE: The TF10 are being sold as drivers only now. There is NO HOUSING. I cut open the housing and took out the drivers because I wanted to keep the housing. See the pictures. One of the sound tubes fell off the larger driver on one channel, but I still have the tube and the filter inside of it. You'd probably want to change out the tubes anyways if you were going to remold these. The cable receptacle was very close to the edge of my earphones, so I had to cut into them a little bit to remove them. The holes for the cable are still intact, though. I was able to insert a cable just fine. Please take note that I will only guarantee these not to be DOA. I can make no guarantees about which agencies will/will not remold these. Might be a cool project for someone to try and make their own custom iems, too. I remember a while back Bilavideo (I know, we all cringe at that name) made a thread about shelling your own customs... there was some useful info in there. PM me for more info.

OK, I'm tired of bumping this thread. Needs to be sold asap. If you're in the Boston area, come get them for $10 cash. Send me a PM with your email address (easier for me to work out a time/place than PM). Otherwise, $25 shipped CONUS, no Intl for now. I'm too lazy to fill out customs forms for a small purchase like this.

If you part out the cables, how much would you be asking for each?

Haven't thought about individual pricing yet to be honest. But somewhere around 140 for both cables and 90 for the earphones themselves. I figured a $20 discount and free case for buying everything as a package was suitable.

These are Ultimate Ears TripleFi 10 drivers. They're a triple driver setup with a crossover attached.

I was actually interested in the particular drivers used, e.g., sonions, knowles, yashimas, etc.

Not at all to be rude, but you might have a hard time selling those drivers at that price, because someone's selling their tf10 universals for less on the fs forum, and those can be reshelled as customs and the purchaser won't have to worry about whether or not companies will reshell them, or a purchaser can still just remove the drivers as you have done.  Just a thought- good luck with your sale

I don't know which drivers UE uses in their TF10. There is some lettering on the drivers that says UE 0837 and UEXXX0836 on the big/small driver respectively.

I am open to offers if anyone thinks my price is too high. The TF10 universals rarely sell for less than 100. The pair you mentioned would come out to about 105 shipped, the same price as mine, except his did not have an upgraded silver cable which was not cheap. Also, look at how quickly that pair sold out. I have priced my drivers alone at 60 because I have seen customs sell for 90-100, without cable. This sale includes the part of the customs that you would be paying for anyways, so I figured 60 is a fair price. A $30 discount for removal of a part that would be unusable to the end user seems decent to me. The buyer would, of course, need to contact the remold service prior to buying these to ensure they would remold them. I would be willing to ship straight to the remold agency if buyer wishes, also.

good work getting them apart without destroying everything, you must have tiny and very steady hands.

A dremel and a cutting disc is all you need! It's actually not as hard as it seems... You just have to make sure to go slow and make sure you don't stick the cutting disc in too far and hit the drivers or cables inside.
