Wow!

Folks, this is not good.  Not good at all.  So far, $1,000+, between cash and items are in his possession. The Ephrata, PA police department has a non-emergency number listed for Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  They also have a non-emergency number listed for other times, too.  However, I suspect that number probably gets routed through either another agency or an answering agency.

I'll keep digging.

I'm almost definitely going to get my money back, he has 8 or so more days until they grab my cash back from him, and I can't see any way he could provide proof of delivery to prevent that.

However, I really hope everyone else gets their money back as well (and an HE-400! Damn!). Honestly, if you paid with Paypal, I'd call them up and explain the situation (say he tricked you into waiting past the 45 days). I gifted the cash to him and even though I did that (and broke the TOS), they opened up a claim for me and couldn't have been nicer. It's worth a shot.

Also, if you can compile everyone's name and situation into one and talk with someone, that could add a lot to the claim, which may make them take notice.

One last thing you could do is a credit card chargeback (if you used a credit or debit card). However, this could cause them to ban your Paypal account.

$30 on eBay. Opened a PayPal dispute yesterday. I had a bad feeling... Should have listened to my gut.

Has anyone tried to contact his father through the paypal account?  Might be worth a try, he did seem young.

I just skimmed through some of this thread.  Looks like I need to read through the whole thing.  I am guessing I also got "duped".

EDIT:  Looks like all of my conversations via PM have been removed.  I will need to scour my email to see if I saved the chat logs.

Sorry to hear about all these issues, I will try see what is going on. Justin is my son , his dad and him were doing these earphones.

thought everything was fine till I got a call today . He is in Alaska right now, I will try to get a hold of him and see what these issues are. Please let me know if you get your packages I know he has his father send them out almost everyday! I will check with his father and see what he all sent. I know he sent some Monday before he left.

I was told he would have my stuff done before he left for Alaska.  I think an easy way to relieve some tension would be get tracking numbers for anyone who had paid jschristian44/relient1128 any money.  If I receive the goods I ordered as well as the small refund we agree upon, then I will consider the transaction fair and done.  I want to be clear, that until today when I discovered this post, I was under the assumption that Justin/Fred was the same person and he hadn't left for Alaska.  Please confirm.

I feel I have stayed calm through all of this, but considering the money I(we) have invested in this, I feel I have every right to start to be upset.  I am nearly ready to start posting my side of the story.  Though I think we need some ground rules of what we can/should be posting if this is not settled within the next couple of days.

I am nearly certain I have all of my conversations documented now.  Until today I have been slightly disappointed, but I hadn't felt cheated.  I would prefer not to jump to conclusions -- which is very easy to do considering the circumstances.  I encourage Justin and/or Fred or any other aliases to be made clear for everyone's sake.  I would also encourage communication and everyone to try to be adults about this until the situation is 100% resolved.
