I had called Justin's mother.  I felt that his horrible actions needed some serious attention.  I certainly didn't want this issue to keep growing because when I placed my call to her, the tally of people owed money was greater than $1,200.  I'm happy to see that Justin's mother has claimed to have paid $1,000 in refunds to due PayPal contacting their house with many phone calls.  Maybe PayPal isn't the "dud" that we make it out to be < Ha! >.

I'm glad to hear that your reimbursement for the HE-400 drivers should be payed in 2 installments, Ulogin.  That is good news.  According to your post, you should probably be receiving a payment soon.  I'll keep my fingers crossed.  I wonder how bad the $1,000 pay-out by Justin's parents will put a riff between them when he gets back from Alaska?  Certainly, won't be the best situation.

Hopefully, this will all work out for everyone on the short end of the stick.  If I can help in any way, just send me a PM.

Good question.  I see where he last signed on to the DIY Audio forum on August 22, 2012.  I haven't spotted any other activities of his around the Web, though.

i actually had a good experience dealing with justin. bought a bunch of tools, diy parts, etc. had to help him with finding box after he sent it to wrong person but it all worked out well in the end.

i did have a couple conversations with his mom and dad and i can understand how their getting caught in the middle of some of this.they were very nice and tried to help. it seems justin is pretty young and easily overwhelmed.

i hope everybody else gets what they're owed.

Thought it would bring back a dead thread to inquire if anyone got repaid? Has anyone escalated anything further, legal-wise?  Reading this thread was like a soap opera without an ending... oh wait (see what I did there? evil_smiley.gif)

thought everything was fine till I got a call today . He is in Alaska right now, I will try to get a hold of him and see what these issues are. Please let me know if you get your packages I know he has his father send them out almost everyday! I will check with his father and see what he all sent. I know he sent some Monday before he left.

I will try see what is going on. Justin is my son , his dad and him were doing these earphones.

His father knew and is using son as scapegoat as underage nothing will happen to him but this little bit she stated makes a case.

Edit: Sorry did not look at year thought this was active today frown.gif

I hope this thread serves as a reminder to all Head-fi users to make trades with confident sellers. Also, this thread showcases someone who didn't know what they were getting their heads into and resulted in angry customers.

Personal message to Justin: Real life has accountability and you're far too young to be dealing with these kinds of situations if you do not have the maturity to handle them properly. Also Justin you need to learn that life isn't all about YOU. You seem like you have a serious personality disorder the way you sell junk to people and think it's okay to take people's money. For someone who is a Christian you seem to lack a moral conscience..
