Feedback for Justin's Headphone Modding (jschristian44) - Page 2

But putting someone's information on the forum like that is totally unacceptable.  There are ways to get even, but not exposing someone's name, etc so everyone can see it.  He should have filed for a claim like he said he was going to do, like the 10 other people I had to do stuff for, but my life got in the way.  I tried to do the best I could with everyone's stuff.  Just look at my feedback.  TAKE DOWN THIS THREAD MODS ALREADY!

What a coincidence! I was thinking of starting a thread here the other day. I am sure Justin will get my stuffs done very soon. True, I've waited 3 months for all my stuffs to be done/fixed (an O2, wooden phones, plus a cable), but I am still hoping that they will turn out good. Do it, Justin!

Yes. Justin's no scammer. Google jschristian44 and diyaudio and AMB forum and you will see his posts! Justin, I support you (and so as the 3 head-fiers that I talked to about your work)!

And Justin: get my stuffs done before alamakazam cause:

alamakazam: 1 item for 2 months

My stuffs: 3 items for 3 months

I support you!

I can see why CosaNstra's unhappy with Justin's Fostex though. I did not buy Fostex from him. But I did talk to a very experienced head-fier here about his work. That's what he told me:

"He sent me a pair of Fostex T50RPs win wooden cups as he wanted my input on how he could make the sound better.  Basically, all he had done is have a local Amish guy cut the wooden cups, then bore a small hole in them to accept the driver.  Justin then lined the wooden cups with felt, and screwed the plastic baffle and driver right to the cup, then put on the ear pads.  He then bored two small bass holes down at the bottom of the cup.  These were the headphones he was selling for $200.  Personally, I thought my modified T50RPs, in the plastic cups, sounded ten times better and I didn't even know where to start with suggestions for him."

I bought a pair of Fostex Cans from him, we disagreed over the quality of the item, but he wasn't a scammer, or cheat. Now he and I didn't end on a very good note as far as our communication, so I really have no friendship with him, but still I will state he is an honest seller. He sent everything as promised (dates-wise), on time and gave constant updates. You can message him here his username is jschristian44 and I am pretty sure there have been a lot of people who have bought things from him with no such issue of not getting what they purchased.

With all that said, Justin is a real asset to head-fi plus a dear friend of mine. I actually like this guy so much that I found him someone to fix his non-functioning Gamma y1 + y2 (can't blame him cause DIY could be tricky).

P.S. Justin: send the stuffs to that guy already, man...

BTW, in case someone wants to know how good Justin is in recabling work and O2 DIY work, PM me, and I will share with you what I heard from another 2 head-fiers.

What are you talking about, A? I don't understand. I am a non-native speaker so I am not good with words. But I said 3 times already how I like/support Justin, so what you just said simply perplexes me. You have to know that Justin's my friend, so he will definitely give me the priority :P

lol ulogin you are a funny one.  i sent your 02 and my gamma to the guy today.  he should get it in 2-3 days about.  i admit my fostex's did need work done if they were to compete with the thunderpants, but that is why i was selling them at $150.  i tried almost all the mods on the stock cups and he is wrong about that unless he has the paradox or cotton dryers or whatever that is a secret.  the rasta pants, etc came no where near as nice quality as mine.  anyways, both of you guys i did not forget about i am going to ship it out as soon as i can.  please be a little more patient.

Were you able to meet that timetable you specified? Was this timetable before or after you got delayed?

If it was before you got delayed, then you should give him a new, definite timetable. If you aren't able to meet that new timetable, you should refund his money.

If it was after you got delayed, then alamakazam should wait until your specified timetable has passed before he demands a refund, which you should honor.

You haven't worked it out with me as you have with alakazam, but I could safely assume that my stuffs are all good, right?
