Superlux HD668B vs. Samson SR850: Whats the difference?

I heard these both use the same drivers, both are basically the same price, yet I heard that the Samson SR850 somehow sounds better, how true is this? If so by how much, I do like the way the 850 looks better yet I like that the HD668B has a changable chord and honestly seem to look more comfortable.

 

Can anyone shed some light on these two? I would most likely go with the better sounding one no matter what but if they are identical then the HD668B would probably be my first choice. I use a Xonar DG if that matters on my computer which is where these will be used.

I did. They both sound very very similar, just pick what you like.

The Samson SR850 appears to have come out after the HD668B.

So Superlux would of had a chance to tweek/improve the design over the HD668B.

Hmm I see, I hate making choices like this...anyone else try both? I heard the highs on the 668B are a bit harsh, is it that they were lowered on the SR850 perhaps?

No, if you do a blind test, you won't be able to tell which is which.

Seriously, I wish the person that started the forum would update us about what they think of the headset they got. So many forums just end with no opinion or conclusion of what they thought of the headphone they ended up purchasing.  I think it is kinda rude that they expect people to answer there questions and help them decide what to buy, yet they can't be bothered to get back on a let everyone reading post-purchase know what they thought, or if they recommend them to others.
