For Sale:

Will Ship To: Anywhere

I have been going back and forth on this for the last week. I have the SR-007 and the SR-009. It this point in my life I can't reasonably keep both. These are almost new. I only put a few hours on them, less than 5. I am the second owner, but I received them looking as if they had never been taken out of the box. They are still in excellent shape. The set is originally from the UK. I am happy to send them back that way, as it may be worth more to someone there. For people in the US, don't worry about possible warranty repairs. I will be happy to get you in touch with the original owner and he is happy to help you getting them back from the UK. You don't want Yama's working on your headphones anyway. It does not come with the original outer box sleeve, but as you can see, it does have the innrer wooden box.

Paypal frees and shipping are not included in the price. I would be very interested in a trade involving a BH, normal or SE. I am happy to answer any questions that you may have.

Why are you selling these. Are the SR-007 better to you? What amp. have you been using?

I would not say the 007 is better for me. I am selling them for the money, not because I don't like them. I can not say I have given either set a proper evaluation as I am running both from a SRD-7 nodded by Spritzer. I think they both sound better than my previous top setup. The Leben/LCD-3.

I had originally planned to keep both and buy something like the BHSE. Well, I had some non audio expenses add up, and that is no longer an option. Selling the SR-009 will give me enough money to buy a proper amp along with having money left over to pad my bank account. The SR-009 is great, and if I am lucky I will find myself owning them again in the future.

As far as differences, even on the transformer, you can notice distinctions rather easily. The SR-009 is more detailed, but I expect I am only scratching the service on that. I have a bit of a bias against bright headphones, and some have called the SR-009 bright. I myself have found no fault with the top end. The SR-007 is as described a bit more rolled off and bass heavy. Both serve their purpose depending on what I am listening to. Sometimes I use the SR-009 and get disappointed by a track, and other times it is the SR-007 that is a let down. Of course that is all in relative terms considering that both are top tier. I just mean to say that I believe the set to be very complementary.

I will cover shipping within the US, and subsidize international shipping.
