Visited the Martin guitar factory today

I finally visited the Martin guitar factory today in Nazareth, Pennsylvania. It was highly enjoyable and worth the long drive- a must see especially if you love the acoustic guitar. The factory is open to the public for visits and probably best to visit during the morning hours before a lot of the workers go on lunch break.

They used to make some of the best Ukelele in the 60's.

You know, I passed up a chance to go when my guitar class in high school went on a field trip there. I don't know why I bailed on it, it probably would've been cool. Maybe one of these times I'll take a ride up there. I love acoustic instruments, there's something so natural and real about them, so this is probably a great place to go. Thanks for the cool thread and pics.

The bodies of the Martin 000-15M models. It's made of mahogany wood. A very fine guitar indeed and popular model.

I'm back in Pennsylvania again. Maybe I'll give the factory another visit.
