I Basso HDP R 10 is IBasso DX 100 Japan Version impressions thread - Page 47

Burn-in issue I reckon. The DX100 needs hundreds of hours of burn-in to unleash its full potential.
Also, just to rule that out, you did compare firmware versions, did you ? I think Hibino did release one update, maybe more?!

Rudi, how does the R10 compare with the Studio V 3RD Anniversary for the 1plus2?

At least, yes; I was thinking even close to the double for it to settle in fully.

For those who might be interested, my HDP-R10 might be for sale depending on the offer.

Studio V 3rd Edition vs HDP R 10 through hp out

High :
Studio V : more extended , but more hiss
HDP R 10 : more pronounce and more natural more room

Sweet :
Studio V : more clear and to my taste more to digital midrange
HDP R 10 : more natural and sweeter for long listening time
Saxophone more natural

Bass :
Studio V : bass impact is very good and clean too
HDP R 10 : more natural bass , very good bass impact as well

Separation : on par ,

Soundstage :
Studio V : has smaller soundstage and not as tall as HDP R 10
HDP R10 has wider and taller soundstage

Conclusion :
Wow factor from studio v is higher , if you listen carefully you can hear HDP R10 more natural and analog SQ and less hiss .

IMO

Hi Lin
Look like you are falling in love with Studio V 3rd Edition biggrin.gif

Thanks Rudi, but the HDP-R10 isn't the best match with the 1plus2...

And also, isn't that the regular Studio V?

I had the HiSoundAudio RoCoo, horrible UI and buggy. It had good sound quality but was basically unusable for my purposes because of the UI.

No it is not the best match , you are right
The best match if I use the line out from HDP R10 plus my Mass Ko Jo 385 or plus my Wagnus Epsilon S

If you like to buy studio V , please buy the studio v 3rd Anv edition , SQ is different. And k
Less hiss , don't buy the normal edition , I think you will be disappointed if you buy the normal studio v
IMO

It does them well Breyer better
But as for the hd800 like a really good amp. But it does sound ok. The hdp r10
Is quite a good dap but some headphones are just picky. But all the ism s I have fine

I actually like the HDP-R10 with the 1plus2, but as both are bright and bring out details, I can see how it can be too much of a good thing.

I think the Earsonics S-EM6 are a better match, not quite as bright, with more of a mid focus, yet full of detail as well.
