I Basso HDP R 10 is IBasso DX 100 Japan Version impressions thread - Page 46

I made a USB cable to the mini male used for iBasso DX100 and HDP-R10 but it can work just on R10 because of 5V DCIN. It's very usefull, I charge my R10 on all USB wall charger which are at least 2,1A.

I use it too with an Anker transportable 10000mah battery, it's very usefull :)

I recently got a pair of Earsonics S-EM6, and I can't get myself to use anything else, they work that well together.

I'm constantly floored with this combo, details and parts of music that I never noticed before in some of my favorite tracks are crystal clear.

Soundstage is wide, vocals sound precise, both bass and tremble are well extended, the combo just does everything right.

I'll try some of my other earphones when I get a chance, but these are a real treat with the R10.

Today ,me and my friend sit down for a coffee and compare our r10(we both use r10)

Very suprised to find out that our units sound a bit different to each other,im very confused so i think i should share it here for advise.

In total, they are a bit different, not night and day but it wasnt too hard to spot out differences

My unit (i bought 2nd hand 2 weeks ago in likenew condition) sound less spacious,i means the soundstage isnt as big as my friend's unit
Secondly, its mid isnt as lush as my friend's unit, and sub-bass isnt as define/prominent

My friend's unit was bought 4 months ago,2nd hand in a less mint condition.

So i was wondering about the "burn-in" of my unit........those sound characters i mention above are signs of "not fully burn in"????????

Anyone may advise me with this case?

It's possible that the sound has been tweaked with various production runs. The DX50 was certainly tweaked from the first run, from what I have read.
