We are very sorry to hear that your HDP-R10 met some problems.

Cause we only sale HDP-R10 in Japan officially, we cannot support you directly.

(According to the rule between iBasso Audio and Hibino-intersound)

But if Rich World Japan (We think they have an office in Japan) connect with us, we can support them.

So, would you mind getting touch with Rich World Japan first and send the player to them?

Let them be the "client", and let's solve the problem you met.

Sincerely yours,

Hibino iBasso Audio support team

Rick World Japan was hope I got it through on Amazon, emailed they but I get no response. Guess I will have to find someone in Japan to be the middle man.
I'm newbie and very interested to HDP-R10.
Did you manage to fix your defective unit by iBasso?

Am sorry to hear about this - I'd be very frustrated and disappointed in your shoes.

Still no response from Rich World Japan?

This may be a long shot, but perhaps email Tomo, from Rooth Japan. He won't be able to help you personally, but may well be able to put you onto a Japan based contact.

Keep us posted.

I'm still enjoying my HDP-R10. The thing that still strikes me the most, when compared to iMod / RX MK3, is not only the increased width and depth of soundstage, but also the exquisitely musical balance. Although no frequency sounds boosted, or exaggerated, the whole presentation still sounds very exciting.

I have now used up all the internal storage as well as a 32gb micro SD.... and I have to say, I have had absolutely no problems with lagging, or instability. Admittedly, it's not as fast or responsive as my iMod, or Clip+, but it's perfectly usable. I get no frustrations from boot-up time nor battery life, which is also perfectly acceptable. The only downside is the size / weight of the unit, which really isn't a big deal, as I wouldn't go running / cycling with such an expensive unit regardless.

As I final note, I'll say that the 1plus2 + HDP-R10 = sonic bliss.

Very nice setup rudi. The only thing missing is a nice cable for your UM...

Left to right: TWAC V3, Stage93, Toxic Virus, DIY Toxic Silver Poison, Toxic SIlver Widow

Besides battery life, is there any major different in sound characteristics between HDP-R10 and the original DX100?

Hi All

Thank you
I haven't try DX 50 yet

You are right this new UM 3 DD , if you like clarity , airy , very good bass impact and speed and very clear SQ than UM 3 DD is the right iem for you
The problem their customer service is not so good , than you don't know when you can get your 3 DD:D

UM 3 DD has different connector from my miracle , the pin are inside the plastic house and smaller than my miracle .
I have tried whiplash Twag Twcu 2 , doesn't fix in , I worry if I pressed down , the hole at the ear pieces become bigger than the stock cable will be loose wink.gif
That's why I haven't use after market cable for my UM 3 DD

Just larger soundstage and overall better clarity.

Best to Ask Rudi ^^.

Hi Rudi, any comment?

Is there any different inside the player that makes HDP-R10 has larger sounds stage and better clarity as mentioned by lin0003?

Below are the additional what I know about HDP R10:

The op amp on HDP R10 use op amp 627 , on IBasso they wipe the op amp
Not so sure is that the same op amp 627 or not

The important for all audio gear is the battery
IBasso battery can not sell in japan
HDP R10 has different battery , this battery is like heart for all audio gear

HDP R10 has better UI than DX 100

My IMO

Thanks Rudi.

Another question if you have problem with your unit how would you deal with it?

As I read iBasso would not handle the repairing and also no support from Japan side.
