Even after renaming the thread I can't help derailing... Would you mind sharing a couple of words on the synergy on that tera in the back of the pic with the 334?

For me, I like the Tera Player/334 a lot! Put focus into the 334...... and less of a diffused sound

Very tempted to get a MH335DW, although with the dual woofer would it sound similar to a JH16?

I think that if you truly like the 334 as it is, you might not like the synergy. It makes the bass of the 334 slightly rolled off and thus you do not have the slow decay of the 334, which is part of the 334 sig. I think most people who like the combo were not such fan of the 334 bass to begin with. If you have more questions you can pm me as I have the 334 for a few more days.

Ok now I am wondering which Fitear to get if I get any. I am waiting for Gavin to compare but I sense that the 335 and se5 might be close. The 435 is very analytical apparently and that is not my cup of Tea, but the 333 could be nice as I have no neutral iems. Than there is the rumored upcoming new Togo... And what color ?! You guys have all the combinations already...

Oh! I had already read that writeup awhile ago but I didn't think you were referring to that writeup by Shigzeo.

My bad my bad.

New Togo is a rumor that emerged from the factory visit thread. Anyway, it will necessarily become true at some point smily_headphones1.gif

I saw an all black pair which was rather stylish....a lot more translucent than the 334...I liked it a lot!

May opt for this colour for a pair of 333 or.........just wished they could do colour tips on black!

Is it really translucent ? Because I already have black Miracles. Or blue with clear tips.

I'm with spkrs01 on this one: If you, like me, find the 334's bass a bit unnaturally boosted at times, the TP/334s combo is a better pairing, a very nice one, in fact. However, the TP didn't pair very well with all my IEMs  — it sounded downright awful with the FI-BA-SS & F111, and not very good with the K3003, though the latter with a 75 ohm resistance adaptor sounds excellent. The ideal pairing for me, however, has always been with the IE800 (superb!) and the PF IX (brilliant!).

EDIT: FWIW, here's my brief TP impressions: http://www.head-fi.org/t/641075/tera-player-owners-thread/450#post_9322763

Just add this new baby to my set. JDS Labs C5. Background is very black compare to the national.

Soundstage seem a bit narrower than national but bass on this baby is much more control and tighter. Initial impression, C5 seem to pair very well with ALO SXC other than VentureCraft m2m.

HELLO

glad to c ur post. what IEM,S do u have to test it with.

do u have the JH16 pro this is the one that is hard to drive. the mid and treble are fine on most but the bass suffers on most.

including the dap x we both seem to have . its better than the I phone but not as good as a better amp or the JH3A.

im not picking just what I hear. I also own the black version of the old one. so I am interested in this new model. I also demoed the versa version of the dap x and it too is no better than the dap x for those IEM,S. but overall its pretty good and does the I phone connection so that is is a big plus.

all the other IEM,S  I own do well with it as well as the I phone 4s and 5. and the old ver JDS.

I very much would like to here your thoughts

AL.D.

I have Fitear MH335DW, UE TF10, and Westone 4R. MH335DW is very easy to drive.

If you have unmodified Go-Dap X, your loss of bass is probably come from the 47Ω output impedance of Go-Dap X. I have that problem too when I bought the red one. When I upgrade my red version to LME49860, I ask VentureCraft to reduce output impedance to 10Ω and it's much better on the bass now.
