Sadly not in a love hotel in Tokyo... wink.gif

But seriously, have a listen with Toxic Cables SW or one of their silver based cables like the Virus. The stock cable doesn't hell bass bloom.

Thanks guys.

So far source wise I would say 901 discrete card > Tera >= RWAK240.

It must be an impedance thing but unlike in some other pairings I get more clarity with 901 than with RWAK240...plus the sound has more depth.

Little edit...not so perfect actually with Tera. I do get some bass cut. It is still great from acoustic music.

I wonder if any good silver cable would do...I generally work with Peter from DHC..for this one I might try Wagnus.

Based on all three Toxic Cables that I owned (Virus, Silver poison, and piccolino), I like Piccolino the most. The bass is not too much and trebles are so sparkling.

You are right! I just tried mine with the 335. Excellent trebles. It had sounded terrible with the 335 demo during my arduous wait for my 335. Thanks for the tip! smily_headphones1.gif

C435 finally came. Just as expected it is one of the most transparent iems out there plus the sparkly treble have me had the goosebumps...which was why i fell in love with it in the first place. Given these characteristics...i had initially bought this with the intent of listening to classical and vocals tracks.

While the bass clarity was exceptional as well...I felt tht this iem cld do with more weight to the bass. The overall sound is bordering on being a bit lean and laidback.

Thn i decided to experiment with diff cables. Have tried the stock cables toxic sw and bw. And my my...The bw absolutely does wonders to this iem. Instead of the lean sound with the stock cables...C435 now sounds very smooth rich and velvety esp with the vocals. The treble sparkle was just as promiment with the be even though it is a cooperation based cable. And the most amazing part was the bass. I nvr thot i wld hear the deep visceral bass coming from the c435 but with the bw...It magically surfaced. The bw made the c435 into a very versatile kem, sounding sublime across many other genres.

Conclusion: Stock cable of the c435 is no good. A cable upgrade not only improves the sound quality...But it also brings out different sides of the iem you nvr thot existed. Its like you suddenly discovered the up town classy sophiscated girl that you admire actually has a bubbly and girl next door appeal which makes her even harder to resistance. Brilliant!biggrin.gif
