When you take out your IEMs there is moisture in them. This moisture slowly start to play havocs with electronics, wire connections, etc. The silica Gel will absorb that moisture very quickly. Sweet!!

:(  Thank you.  Didn't know.  I don't know if sound degrades over time because of this, or people had their customs die on them.  Don't want to take chances.  Are there cases specifically for this?  Where can I get them?

You can find silica gel sachest in lots of household products, like vitamin-supplement bottles or shoe boxes. That's the cheapest solution*

You can also buy silical gel sachets or canisters at the desiccants section of most DIY stores, or even your local Wallmart or Tesco or whatever evil-hypermarket-franchise you have in your country. Shops that specialize in leather goods also offer (or can recommend) different types of dehumifying solutions.

*Actually, old newspaper makes for decent alternatives. Cumbersome, since you need to wrap and unwrap them around your iems each time, but cheaper than chips.

Or just get a Westone Monitor Saver. The simplest solution IMO.

How about rice?  :D  It's used to dry electronic devices if they absorb water.

I have lots of these for my hearing aids. I find them too small to use with the cables attached to my Fitears and Im not about to start unplugging my cable three times a day.

Just wondering does any of the current MH335DW owners feel about losing the exclusiveness?
Unless TG!335 can do SR upgrade, otherwise still exclusive

+1

TG335DW will come with titanium tube just like TG334 so I guess it won't need SR update. I can imagine the difference between MH334 and TG334 will be there for MH335DW and TG335DW.
