Are the universals handmade as well?

I think i read somewhere that FitEar manufactures only 5 units of UIEM and CIEM per day. Maybe, this is the reason people have to wait such a long time to buy a TG!334.

Most of the companies that make high end universals (Noble, JH Audio, Fitear, Unique Melody) are still making (and tuning) the units by hand. I know my 1964 Ears V8 Universals were handmade - the only difference was the shell size. I could be wrong.....

The universals are handmade as well.

FitEar ever advertised in local headphone magazine that they only make 5 iems per day.

Considering the TG!334 is very well received in the market served by FitEar, no wonder they always out of stock and the waiting time can drag on for many months

Okay thanks. I am pretty sure you can't order custom FitEar earphones without residence in Japan. If you want one you have to order from a distributor from somewhere.

This one, right?

Is this really true? I know they make very limited numbers, but 5 units per day does seem like too few. For comparitive purposes, Ferrari makes about 20 cars a day on average. With demand for FitEar customs as strong as it is, we might be looking at 1yr waiting lists very soon.  >_<

Perhaps this is the primary reason FitEar aren't expanding their dealer network. Possibly a reason why they're experimenting with 3D printing as well, I suppose.

The wait for my MH334 is moderately long this time round as compared to my C435's wait last year. Nevertheless on the bright side, I am happy for fitear being on-demand and being talked about oftenly. Love the discussions and sharings (:

When did you order your 334s and where are you located? Ordered through Jaben?
