Dude, it is 2014, come on wake up.

+1.

In any event, the Shures are just shells. They have not been filled up with acrylic by hand. Anyway, if you prefer the uniformity of universals, power to you. smily_headphones1.gif Then perhaps a hand made custom is not quite something for you.

is nothing wrong for your thinking.
for me, i don mind bubbles as long as the bubble is not that really obvious and big.

because i don stare on my iem, and i cant actually because they will be in my ear most of the time.

and i don think other iem is more worth it because of less bubble and cheaper. i'll buy just because i like it.

I still can't see any air bubbles on my 335, even with a magnifying glass and backlight. Then again, I my shells are solid blue & red, so maybe the bubbles are harder to spot compared to the clear shells. The user who got bubbles in his was probably listening to way too much Michael Bublé or something. Then again, I doubt I'd care even if I did spot one or two tiny bubbles or other imperfections.

My 335dw are clear with red/blue tip. Can't see any bubble. They just look perfect. Fit perfect and sound great (to my ears) smily_headphones1.gif

Agreed. What stands out for Fitear is that they do fit beautifully in your ears and they sound so good. And they are well built. If that's not what one is looking for in an iem, perhaps one shouldn't be looking at Fitear. smily_headphones1.gif

Custom IEMs are sort of like roll-your-own tobacco. A hand rolled stick might not be perfectly straight, but if you like the taste you probably won't go back to regular boxed fags. Now I'm off to roll some Drum with the 335s in my ears, listening to some smoky acid jazz on the balcony.

That's right. FitEars are moulded between the thighs of young Japanese girls who work at AnakChan's Soapland.

Does that explain the occasional bubble or two? smily_headphones1.gif
