Well unfortunately from Eu, pulling a trigger for FitEar ciems is a just like a dream. I am waiting for something like TG335DWSR or new universal flagship. Otherwise it is just impossible for me to order from here.

Anyway, thank you for your advise. I do make my search properly. Before buying this SE5way, I spent literally months on reading, searching, demoing equipments. At the end I pulled the trigger and I couldn't be happier I guess. Obviously one of the best ciems ever made. Excellent customer service is another big plus but this is a FitEar thread so let's leave Spiral Ear out of it for the moment.

@VisceriousZERO

any comparison between mh335dw and roxanne? since you own both. would like to know the differences between the 2. eg what do you feel each excel at with regards to what you listen. like what songs do you like more on mh335dw and what songs do you like more on the roxanne?

Hi Tupac,

Thank you for your impression.

Appreciate it!

Cheers

My impressions was only based on auditions of the demos, so I am not sure I can provide you any useful information here as you know customs are always better than demos (at least people would say so).

From the demo, 435 sounds pretty balanced to me. it has a clear, forward presentation to my ears. It has less bass compared to 335 or TG334. Upper mid/lower treble sounds very forward to my ears which will create an instant clarity and brightness. Because of this, 435 sounds more neutral than the warmer, smoother, more organic 335 and TG334, less neutral than reference CIEM like Hidition NT6.

I found 435 sounds specially good on live acoustic performance and I believe it changes with source dramatically as mentioned by Gavin.

Hi Kiats,

Thank you for the pointer.

Really enjoy reading the reviews.

Very positive and informative.

I read some info about C435 here and from other sites, since I guess the reviewers were demoed / bought from Jaben Singapore, I have a question:

The demo unit in Jaben for 435 is the same as mr. Wilson's own unit or these are two separate units?

Were there sound the same?

One being a demo and one being a personal unit from mr. Wilson.

Thanks

I have the Starlight. It will not fit Fitear customs without shaving off one of the tabs that sticks out the side of the connector. I did this with my Dremel and they fit fine now :D

they did not sound the same actually.

the personal unit from uncle wilson has more transparency, clarity, better treble extension, mids more lean and forward, bass is punchier and hit deeper.

if you demo using the demo unit, you may not like it.
it is only for you to know where you will be heading on.

Hi Charlie0904,

Thank you for the reply.
I suppose most of the reviewers from Jaben Singapore would be listening to mr Wilson's personal 435.

Otherwise most would not bother to invest if they were all listening to the demo unit.

Any CIEM models out there that you feel are similar / close to c435 sound signature, other than UM miracle?

Thanks again

not really at the moment. C435 sound signature (Fitear) is somewhat uniquely tuned.

Hmm ok. I just realised BTG do not sell ready made cables for Fitear customs.
Users will have to modify the connectors themselves.
Guess I'll have hunt elsewhere, any good spc for FT CIEM that you guys recommend that is flexible as the Starlight?
