lol. you know I do. It just depends on what "treble roll off" refers to.

To my ears, togo 334 definitely has very smooth treble, warm signature.

435 has more upper mid, lower treble energy which might make people think it has much greater treble extension compared to 334.

To my ears, all 335, 435, 334 have similar treble extensions with 435 has a brighter/more forward presentation. (But they are only demos, so might not count although I feel I am experienced enough to play around with the tips and sealing to get the best/realest sound)

On the other note, actually NT6's treble extension isn't as far as SE5, but I wouldn't be surprised if people say SE5 has rolled off treble compared to NT6 (because NT6 has much brighter sounding) which is not the case at all because SE5 has a smoother mid treble region. So just a matter of how far (frequency) you can hear things and how you wish to describe them;)

You can actually buy universal samples?  Anyone in the US have any?  I would pay good $$ to try out the 335 or 435 for a week :) (and/or trade my TG!334).  Or at least be notified of a meet where one would make an appearance in the Socal region sometime soon...

From what I know, FitEar only provides universal samples (demo versions of their CIEMs) to their authorised re-sellers like Jaben, and that is only for prospective customers auditioning purpose, and not selling them to the end users.

If it's an end user who has the 335 universal, I'm inclined to think it was obtained improperly.

As others had said, only resellers are supposed to have them. They are serialized too do shouldn't be hard to track.

ok, i'm understood. I know that those people had pay about 2k $ for each sample, so I think it's wasn't improperly from their side.

And, i'd like to add, that since its so difficult for non-japanise people to make FITEAR customs it will the great opportunity to offer universals. But it just my opinion and I know that customs the straightest way for perfection

My 335 is coming soon. I want to ask current owner, which DAP is the best for direct connect. I have old imod 5.5 using with tg334. It has a lot of hiss whent connect direct to earphone jack. I have to connect with my pico dac/amp to use it. I'm going to mook in singapore this week hoping to snatch some good DAP from there. Any suggestion? (I'm not the bass head but I do like quality bass not quantity)

Thanks

Are you using it with balance card? I have read somewhere that the hm901 has gain and volume issue with sensitive ciem. Could you explain on that? Is it that the hm901 is too powerful? Does it have any hiss when not playing music?

There is not the slightest hiss with sensitive iems. The issue is in volume...the steps are in my opinion, not fine enough. It goes from too quiet to a bit loud

Guys, how can a person order a FitEar - Suyama ciem from Europe? Is it pretty much impossible without taking a travel to Asia (or precisely Japan).

I have a feeling like if I don't get / hear MH335DW, I think it will always stay inside of me, bugging me.

First thing, be sure you try the 335 before ordering, because the sound sig is very special, much bassier than you SE5 for instance, but quality bass still and very smooth mids. The only way to order is in Japan in a country with a distributor, only Asian countries and Australia. You can always try through a friend in such a country...but prints have to be done in a special way. And not sure distributors will accept outside prints.
