By the way, Sasaki-san last night, tweeted in Japanese something about a MH335DW Studio Reference. I don't have any details of this "Studio Reference" factor to see if it's a MH335DW variant or not.

Brings up the question - I'm still curious about the Pro Audio 335's...possibly a relation with the "Studio Reference"? Perhaps they transplanted some sigs around....

I thought about that too. I've just sent a message to Suyama-san to ask him about this Studio Reference MH335DW. Will see if he replies about it.

Concerning Widow and Poison I would guess only the litz makes a difference. I have never seen cable makers putting more than 1% of gold but could be wrong.

Saw the tweet.

Seems like an upgrade service. Not applicable to new orders (I wonder why) and dependent on canal size and shape.

I wonder how much it will cost for the upgrade. If they could also fix the crack on the lacquer finished on my MH335DW, I like to try it.

that's great, looking forward to having more details about the upgrade, definitely want to try given my dissatisfaction about the 335DW. Is it possible for them to check if a pair of 335s are perfectly assembled? I always doubt there's something wrong with my 335s...

We will have to wait till Anakchan gets more information from the man himself.

The Silver Poison has 1% gold content. The Silver Widow has a higher gold content and is the only silver/gold litz cable available currently, i have kept the exact content to myself, due to the amount of people releasing 1% gold cables after i released the Silver Poison 2 years ago. I don't release all the information on some of my cables now.

Thanks for your impressions mtthefirst and taking the time to write them ,it is much appreciated.

The Fitear cables are priced slightly higher due to the considerably higher cost of the connectors as i don't use the HD650 connectors and the longer build time.

When ordering, customers should notify if they have customs or universals, so that i can use the correct connectors.

Nope but nice find. It was another of kindo3's tweet though. My wife did a translation (in her words) :-

"To ppl who are interested with MH335DW studio reference  If you bring 335DW to headphone festival,I can do adjust check roughly"

I can barely read some Japanese but Suyuma-san is saying something about the reason for checking customers' ear shape and size is that it needs to be large enough to drill 3 holes and might be more.

Definitely ;-). However I still don't know what all this checking and tuning business is about. I haven't had a response from Suyama-san.
