Have you actually heard the SE5 ? What is the opinion based on ? Being hard to drive is ok, it is suppose to be good with the DX100.

On a side note:
1. I'm interested in hearing the SE5 as well.
2. I just used a Bass tester from soullinker20, the SSS-BassTest from 400 (i think) or so cycles to 30 cycles and the 335 delivered without changing the volume at any time. It was set to 200 at low gain on the HDP-R10.

Thanks smily_headphones1.gif I am sure it s awesome, I tried the demo, the question is : is it 2000$ awesome? And versus other top tier iems / ciems...can t wait !

I'm getting either SE5 or mh335dw. Had decided to go for SE5 and NT6PRO. Since I got the feeling that SE5 and mh335dw sounds alike.

I don t think se5 and 335 sound alike. Se5 suppose to be on the dark side, and the demo of the 335 was not dark at all, quite balanced and dynamic.

I don't think it's dark at all if what Joe says is true, that the SQ is similar to gr07 mk2. I have gr07 right now and it sounds amazing!!

I compared the SE5 with the To Go! 334 here, 2nd from the bottom of the comparison section.  Here's to hoping that I can hear/review the 335 some day.

Last time I talked to Grzegorz, he said a month...so not so long. I will be sendingy impressions and my wife's (might get se3 for her) after Chinese new year.
I will be able to compare to Miracles and Tralucent. I will wait to go to Japan or a city with Jaben to get the 335.
