I have a pair of HD598's in basically like-new condition. On the top of one of the cups there is some paint missing. This is not outwardly visible and you need to closely examine the headphones to see it, but it's there.
I can take a picture if you want. Anyway, 200 OBO seems fair to me. Don't hesitate to offer.
These headphones have 10-25 hours on them. I'm not sure exactly. They are not a refurbished pair, but they do not come with any sort of warranty. They are the newer model with the more flexible headband that does not crack.
I'd also trade for an O2 or other quality amplifier.
