Hisoundaudio ROCOO BA - Superior Hi-Fi player for Ciem's & Iem's - Page 28

Thanks for the impressions DigitalFreak!

It's interesting how some people say BA shares much of the V's sound.

Having the same BA with me only a few days, I can say it's surely enjoyable, I'm really enjoying detail levels and separation which is all I'll mention right now. Over both my Colorfly players the BA has a special way of putting detail across, a touch more aggression with micro detailing certainly stands out, there are samples that were smeared over or I could only faintly hear with my C3 and CK4 that are now being layered much clearer, I spent four hours laying down last night straight with the player and look forward to more.

You're welcome, I'm glad the player arrived safe and sound in your hands and I'm sorry it took me a little longer then I intended to get it shipped out to you.. I've been curious about colorfly and look forward to your comparisons.

Not a problem my friend!

nice write up H20Fidelity DigitalFreak. I love both the BA and the Studio very much(unfortunately, I'm already engaged, otherwise I would surely marry one of themwink_face.gif) I would have to agree with you about both players sounding very similar. I really have to sit there and try to pick out the differences between both players doing side by side comparisons. The only time when it's really apparent is when in fact I've been using the BA for a while and then switch to the Studio.

One thing I like to do every now and then is use my BA with an external amp(RSA Predator) and pair it up with my Grado Rs2. Man, I love the good synergy of the three together!

The BA does not need any external amps or anything, but in my case, I love the Predator and what it brings to the table in this particular setup.

Seems like this entire platform is now going or gone. I wonder what's next besides Nova.

Hmm I'm curious on that as well. I wonder if they will revise the BA and P models as well? Jack did mention that the Nova players are not meant to take the place of his higher end offerings but are an alternative for more so main steam users who want higher audio quality and portability in one. So they may very well update more than just the Studio V. I'll have to ask him about this though...

My assunption was that Nova may replace RoCoo and we need to see what happens for Studio.

the nova flls the same kind of niche as the rocco imo , it just so happen the novas is more refined in terms of look

I suggest an external battery pack. I use a duracell one and use 3m dual lock to attach them together. it charges the Rocoo very fast and doubles the battery time. Highly recommended!

You could get battery packs for cheap on ebay,  i gpt a 20k mah one for 20 bucks
