Hmm so you think there may be an issue with the unit? Well if that's the case it may need to go back to Hisound for RMAA after the tour. That would be a shame though.

It charged and held it's charge fine for the day I had it but worth a look to be sure it's OK. I suspect it's fine.

I recommend for everybody who uses Hisound Rocoo's and Studio's to use the Auto-shutdown feature that way your unit will power down by itself and your battery will last much longer. I also have these Duracell battery packs which are very convenient and SIGNIFICANTLY cut down on charging time! ...here's an old picture I posted a year ago, of course now I use the thin Dual lock strips for piggybacking to one another.

How does it significantly cut down on charging time? Would using a higher rated mW wall wart to mini usb do that job better? ;) Mine is 1000 mW and I'm positive it charges much faster than on my PC :P.

1000mA is 1 amp and most usual USB port is 500mA so by using 1000mA (1 amp) will decrease the charging time, but it can also decrease the run time, because you're charging the batter at a faster rate.- lee730

Yes, so you keep telling us.

I know with older battery's a slow charge rate would give you longer run times, not 100% on the new ones.
Just reminiscing on my Electric Radio Control car days.

I did stop using the 1500mAh charger though. I think that probably was overdoing it ;). That one was for my Sflo2 before. I don't mind waiting a bit longer and be on the safer side with 1000mAh. I also charge my T1 amp via this method. Dual charger slots.

it seems like these battery packs will just "pour itself" into your unit. Last time I connected the Studio into the wallwart it took many, many hours to get a full charge. With the battery pack, it took less than two hours for the Studio to drain the battery pack and it seem to be at full charge(it sure as hell lasted like was). Btw, I have never experienced any decreased playing time from the faster charging.

Yeah it doe take several hours to fully charge my Studio V. But hey it can be done while I sleep for the most part. But I think it takes around 11 hours to fully charge from a dead unit. Meaning the battery indicator has stopped moving period. Still considering when you can charge it and how often you actually have to charge the unit it's a non-issue ;).

Would be cool if you could get a makeshift back-plate to give more room and throw a Studio V battery in their ;).

hmmmmm, I remember seeing somebody selling a Hisound Studio V housing recently here on the FS threads
Edit: wouldn't the different battery mess with the sound? if not, it would be a great upgrade.
