Beyerdynamic T90 :D - Page 158

You know, I've plugged them straight into my iPhone 5S and they sounded pretty decent. Not as controlled or detailed as my uStreamer, but pretty decent.

The Tesla technology makes them easyer to drive than other headphones with similar specs.

Are you sure that headphones with "similar specs" sensitvity are labeled in dB/mW , not dB/V .?

Because similar means that their sensitivity is close to the beyers if not the specs are not "similar"

I just meant that the sensitivity is high due to the tesla driver. Its a 250ohm driver, but still pretty easy to drive.

T90 with Lehmann audio amplifier is a must try as it compliments the T90 with a 3D tight bass, wonderful highs and a nice and detail mids.

I love my T90.  How do the T990 Premier compare?

I find the Little dot MK II 2.0 does a great job with the T90' but after you change from the stock tube's of course. I did get my little dot MK2 cheap which was good on my part.

Indeed a very nice sounding combination, but price-wise not the perfect companion for the T90 I guess...

I'm driving my T90s with a Maverick D1 being fed from SB3 sounds great.

Think these might just be the best headphones I've ever heard for jazz. Piano and cymbals just shine on these.

I have about 3 weeks now with the T90s and have found they work well with just about any music. If it calls for bass they deliver a deep rich sound mids shine without being shouty and the highs are crisp without going over the top.
OK let's face it in general they are fantastic.

I think the T90s greatest strength and biggest selling point is it's versatility, both in its genre bandwidth and delivery of quality, faithfully reproduced sound from any source.

Did someone tested T90 over the new HE400i? Any thoughts?
