hope i will receive the answer soon. really crazy for this. I'm an ATH fan too

thank you very much.

The one with 3 buttons is for iPhone, the one with 1 button is for smartphones.  If you read the description of the specific one they are selling, it should tell you that its for smartphone or iPhone.  If you don't need buttons, just get the one without the buttons. it's cheaper and has the extension cord.

CKM500 = normal IEM

CKM500i = iPhone ver.

CKM500is = smartphone ver.

It's official Dsnuts. I really really like the CKM500, but I'm addicted the the JVC house sound. I have the FXD70 in my ears now (decided to try these before I listen to my FXD80), and I love the sound right out of the box. Wow! I paid a total of $185 for both the FXD70 and FXD80 (shipped). If the 80 sounds better than this then I would have to say I got the bargain of the year. Now back to listening!

just paired these babies with the sennheiser double flanged tip found in ie7/ie8 and the improvement is noticeable. more sub bass, less mid-bass, airier sound.  try it out guys

Tried it, the CKM500is is also usable on iPhones 4s.

Just picked up a camera case to keep them safe.

It even has a hidden pouch to hold some extra tips, in case they were to wear out while on a trip.

Good case. I use that for my Canon point and shoot and it's sturdy. I might get another to use like you thought of. beerchug.gif

I was looking for earphone specific cases online and the only thing i was really coming up with is those little 3" round clamshell cases. I didnt want one of those because i really didnt want to have to wind the cord on the CKM500's that tightly because they are stiff and kind of have a bit of memory.

So then i came up with the idea of maybe a camera or a gps case. So i ended up at Best Buy and found this.

Is it possible to get these IEMs in the UK? My SoundMAGIC E10s just fell apart (The 'nozzle' (?) has come away from the housing AGAIN) and I'm looking for something around a similar price, maybe a little more to replace them.

There are sellers on ebay that will ship them from Japan to pretty much anybody. Check it out.

Can you recommend any? I'm really intrigued by some of these AT IEMs and just want something equivalent or better than my E10s but I'm worried that I'll get hit with customs charges. The CKM500s may be a little out of my price range, is there any other cheaper AT IEMs that will better my E10s?

Guys i dont like the gr07 highs because they are pronounced but with not particular crispy micro detailed. So even though they are hot they dont have any nice crispiness benefit.. Is the ckm500 better on this factor? and the bass remains in the same levels?
