Thanks for helping make the inaugural Village Headphone Meet an absolute success!  Here is a quick video showcasing an overview of the event.

Once again, we're thankful for everyone who participated and look forward to many more Village Headphone Meets in the future!

Audeze and Alex:

Thanks for putting together this wonderful event and we are ecstatic that we could work together to host the after-event at the V-MODA Fortress and allow the community to get a glimpse into our infamous DJ booth club and theater sound systems.

PS - not many people got to see Alex DJ drum & bass on his Ableton setup after his wife played, but I was quite impressed.  I can't wait til I spin next on all real analog vinyl!

When's the next LA EVENT?!  JULY!

" It was great meeting and talking to Mike from CEntrance, a company I hadn't heard of before but that makes some seriously good sounding products. Mike is an excellent fellow."

I've got friends from Tokyo visiting LA and they were wondering what are the best headphone retailers in the Los Angeles-to-San Diego metro areas.

I'm sorry this is not about the LA Meet but if anyone has any guidance, I'd really appreciate a PM. Thank you in advance.

Yeah, RIP DXC. I'm currently in LA and would love a headphone store to hang out in. New York has J&R and B&H, Portland has 32Ohm...it would seem like there's a market in LA for a high-end headphone store. But I guess DXC going out of business indicates otherwise.

Yeah, i read that at Shelly's Stereo out in Woodland Hills you can audition Grado's but i have one pair of those already(have to send back to apuresound) and that is enough.  My Grado sr225 have been shorted cable for a while.  After all the problems with quality control from  high end ones and some of the picts out of the manufacture, i elected to go more toward other phones.

Anyway, if we had all those shops here people on the street would be more aware of what we are actually wearing out in public-ie Ed8 LE.  I'd rather have them target Beats wearers for theft and think mine are cheapies.wink_face.gif

Tell them to stay home.

Or try Best Buy before they go out of business too.
