Been searching for a lot of new arists lately, since I've just recently gotten into torrents (I think I've spent enough on music already, and torrents are 320 kBps instead of 256 >_>)

Nitrous Oxide, enjoyed his album (Dreamcatcher)
Andy Moor (Zero Point One) - already had a lot of remixed versions, still a worthy pickup.
Ashley Wallbridge, (The inner me) good overall album except for the first two tracks which I swear use premade garageband piano loops, or sound very similarly to.

Any suggestions?

Never heard of him, will check it out though. I think trance already is the ambient version of EDM, but there is more ambient versions than others, like Max Graham and ATB do a lot of ambient.

Ahhh I was unaware. I go offa last.fm's tags for artists helps me organize my linrary that recently has been hitting an increase in volumne both in genres and quantity. You might like if you are into classic style an artist called nils frahm he is quite interesting no words just deep instruemts.

Torrenting Openminded!? by Roger Shah at the moment, I'll see how it is. Also, I just learned Dakota is Markus Schulz, similar to OceanLab being Above&Beyond, am downloading Thoughts become things 1 & 2 as well.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Openminded!? was alright. I think it was somewhat of an attempt at what Above & Beyond did in Group Therapy, but with a wider range of vocals (not necessarily better).

I wouldn't give it as much credit as Group Therapy though, it just doesn't leave the same impression.

Great remix and an awesome video clip showing Dash on his tour.

Found an Artist Named tyDi today. I'd recommend checking him out, it's not really trance, because most of his tracks are like ~4 minutes. It just doesn't seem like poppy-dance crap. It's a lot more ambient, and the vocals are a lot less cheesy.

Grabbed 2 albums from him:
Shooting Stars and Hotel Rooms. Will give them a full listen to and put my final verdict.

(damn, I have a lot of catching up to do, I listened to Thoughts become things 1 while at work via my iphone speaker, so I don't feel like I've reached a consensus yet)

Also, I finally picked up the rest of Tri-State from A&B, About time! lol

Went outside and laid in the sun while listening to Shooting stars. Very impressed, reminds me of BT a little, but with a lot less dubstep and glitch. This is definitely one of my new favorite albums, albeit the songs are much shorter than one would hope. I'll give Hotel Rooms a listen to later on, perhaps tomorrow. Hope it's as good as the first.

Listening to Nils Frahm, starting with his oldest album. Some songs I really enjoy, good depth. Others are just like "what the hell was that...*skip*." He sure does have a lot of albums, so any preference?
