I sure as hell hope so! I think the bass on my 1.2 is fairly muddy and overpowering unless I EQ.
disclaimer: once again, not hating on Aurisonics, so don't get butt hurt anyone!

i 2nd that motion
I've never heard the ASG-1.2, but the bass on my AS-2 prototype is anything but muddy and overpowering - and I really don't like noticeably boosted bass. If you're comfortable with the amount of bass produced by the GR07 you should be happy with the AS-2. The adjustable bass port should help here as well.
It's overpowering, I agree. I consider it to be a basshead IEM more than a mid-focused one. However, I don't think it is muddy at all. The midbass is there but it doesn't bleed into the mids and it isn't slow. I tend to hear a lot of detail actually, since with the ASG-1.2 you won't focus on the treble.

The 1.2 is not a mid-focused IEM, the 1.0/1.1 was :p
In your opinion tinyman. The 1.2 graphed as mid-centric, although there doesn't seem to be a consensus either way on its sound.
I want a source outside Aurisonics for this. The 1.0/1.1 both showed poor bass depth on graph, but it showed it in practice. The 1.2 still shows poor bass depth as well, but again in practice, still has it. The 1.0/1.1 showed equal quantity of bass and treble, this was far from true by just about everyone who heard the ASG-1 (in other words, it's not just my opinion). Aurisonic's graph has yet to be confirmed by another 3rd party measurement, or another person for that matter.

That's true. I'd like to see one as well. They did sound a bit bassier than graphed.
At this point right now, I'm more interested in the AS(G)-2 ;)
That's why I said it was a basshead IEM lol. I guess what I said didn't come out correctly. I meant to say, I would characterize the ASG-1.2 to be a basshead IEM instead of a mid-centric IEM that other people say it is. Of course, YMMV and I've never heard the previous versions.
I was trying to jump on the special price, but I couldn't get it to apply the discount. I added the item to the cart and tried to check out. I got all the way to the 'confirm your order' screen and the price was still not discounted. From what I had read, I assumed that the discount would be applied automatically somewhere between adding the item to the cart and the end of the check-out process. No such luck. I was understandably reluctant to click the 'Confirm' button when the non-discount price was still showing.
There was a place during the check-out process where I could have entered a discount code, but I don't believe we're supposed to need one. I know it isn't Friday here on the west coast, but it is after midnight CST -- there's a comment on the FaceBook page indicating that CST would be used to control the offer.
Oh well, so much for being first :)
Sale pricing only over phone or email. For email you need some information from setting up the order online. So go back a few posts from Aurisonics on this thread and you should find all the information you need on how the sale day will work.

Interesting. I was going by this from the FaceBook page:
Discount will be taken at checkout from our website on the AS-1 or AS-2 products. You can also call us to place your order using credit card or to set up a PayPal invoice to pay at 615-246-0366.
ASG-2 pre-order cannot be made online. You are required to call in to place your pre-order for the ASG-2.
Silly me, I guess I don't know what that first sentence means :)
No problem though, I can manage an email.
Didn't see that. I am not sure but try contacting Aurisonics and sharing what you get in response. I'd try calling though. That or email.
