Higher quality sound overall. The 1X and 3X have a very similar sound, IMO, but the 3X just sound more refined in every way.

I think the 1X has slightly more bass, but the quality of the bass from the 3X is better. Its tighter, has more punch, and in general just sounds more pleasant. Both iems benefit significantly from deep insertion. Rrrrreally brings out the rumbling sub bass.

I didn't notice much of change after 'burning' the 1X, but the 3X sounded much better after around 100 or so hours of use.

So 3X is the one to get then by the sounds.....

I think so yes. In this case the 3X over the 1X is a no-brainer given they are better in every way (minus bass quantity...which is still very close), and don't really cost much more.
