Hey guys, my budget is around $45, and I was wondering what's a better deal? I listen to a lot of types of music, but mostly r&b, pop, etc.

Are those the only two options you want to consider?

Since I've never listened to ATH,
I'd say if you want something with good clarity, instrument seperation which sacrificed some of 'fun' sounding, you should go for Brainwavz M1.
But if you want good bass or all-round earphones with fun sounding, go for Brainwavz ProAlpha.
They both have great build-quality especially the cables.
