Transformer for Stax - Lundahl 1627 Transformer

This was custom built for me by Spritzer using 2 Lundahl 1627 transformers.
The internal circuit was was also built and assembled by him.

"....... the Lundahl LL1627 transformer box I built. The sole reason to build these boxes was to go into overkill mode so no expense was spared. The box is a Hammond die-case unit which I had powdercoated in this lovely color. The bias supply is my latest 1.3 board with LED indication. Two teflon Stax jacks were used on each box and all wiring was Kimber or Belden. On this box I wired the transformers for a lower ratio so I recommend a powerful amp to drive them. 40W+ should do it as my Gainclone works just fine. As with all transformers which feature my bias boards they can be used anywhere in the world without any mods.
I've built quite a few difference transformer solutions over the years and this is by far the best of the lot. Very expensive but it really shines with a good amp."
