Hello fellow head-fiers! I have for sale a couple of great sealed cans. Both sound and look fantastic, but I need to thin the herd a bit.
First up there's the newly release AKG K550. It's more-or-less new with very low hours. The only flaw I've noticed is that the right side of the headband creaks a bit when you fully rotate that side's cup completely flat or open. It doesn't creak when you rotate it within the normal range and, most importantly, it never does it while on your head. Probably not an issue for most, but worth mentioning in the interest of full disclosure.
The DT1350 has sold. Secondly, I have a Beyerdynamic DT1350, also in excellent condition. It has a serial number in the 13XXX region and appears to be the latest revision (for those of you following the DT1350 thread). It sounds fantastic and easily tops the other on-ears I've tried (HD-25/M80/ESW9/P5). It also comes with a slick carrying case and a couple of adapters.
Both headphones will ship with their original boxes and accessories.
I am asking for $210 shipped CONUS for either set, or $400 for both. The package(s) will ship fully insured via FedEx Home Delivery. I accept payment via PayPal--the gift method would be appreciated, but I won't sweat the fees if you prefer to use standard payment.
I am not interested in any trades at the moment, and I would prefer to keep the sale within the lower 48 for the time being.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to shoot me a pm.
Thanks for looking,
EDIT: Added photos for both sets.
