The sound quality and tuning from a single balanced armature is exceptional is very well worth at least $800 in my opinion. Maybe we will give the other $200+ for marketing, design and the silver shell.

Actually I got a pair of this on my hand now... For its price (1500 RMB) it worth every cent that I have paid...

Will post more details if I have the time...
