Is there a Headphone Amp better than my Mcintosh Intrgraded amp?

Ive been using Senn's HD650 with my Mcintosh MA6100 and a Jolida Phone pre-amp it seems to be working good. I would like to try a external headphone amp. but what direction would be a upgrade?

I see most of you are playing Cd's or Computers with DAC's. Most of my music is on records.

 

I also enjoy adjusting treble and bass. my price range is under 800

With that kind of a budget, I would stay with what you have and save up until you have more money to buy a DHT SET headphone amp.

I ordered a Schitt LYR today. I'll hook it up to my tape out of my McIntosh MC6100.

I had a little dot III but it was Little high on the distortion
