MiuAudio MRB Audiophile DIY HeadAmp KIt

Our first DIY headphone amplifier MRA received and welcomed.

Thank you once again to accept and support!

This year, we launched the MRB.

 

Entry-level DIY kit we play a lot. We've been very satisfied or believe won a lot of finished machines?

Now that we have updated leapfrog surprise.

The addition to the fun of DIY. MRB provide a more ideal state, the use of a 9V battery-powered, use LME49720 virtual control, low voltage ripple is relatively stable op amp has a good working condition, in theory, can have a better dynamic, quieter background.

Select the key components in the kit. 1% precision resistors, we have deliberately chosen the ALPS potentiometer. The kit is used to op-amp AD8620/NE5532 ，choose to use the AD8620, because the style of the op amp bias neutral IC, music, vocals and the band's sound in hearing good scalability feel more balanced. You can also change your favorite op amp.

- Input: Audio in 3.5mm jack (stereo) x 1;
- Output: Headphone out 3.5mm jack (stereo) x 1; 
- 1 x volume knob included;

- The Kit includes Opamp: AD8620X1, LME49720X1, NE5532X1;

I have, as well as bowei006. However, both of ours didn't work and had the exact same issue: the left channel is much softer than the right one.
As far as I know there are others having the exact same problem as well.

The issue is not yet fixed in our case, since I'm thousands of miles away from my solderin station at the moment, and bowei006 is inexperienced so he can't fix it either.

Hmm doesn't sound like a DIY error, but rather a product issue. Thanks for the impressions!

The design of the amp shouldn't cause this error. (I got hold of the schematics for troubleshooting purposes).
Most likely it's a bad batch of opamps, or something like that. When I get back home in two weeks I will replace the opamps, and it should fix the issue since most of the other components have already been ruled out.

I don't think it's a product issue per se, but stuff like this definitely should not be allowed to happen.

Calling me that will confuse others. so please refrain from doing that.

And there isn't much I can do about speeding up the process of going back. I'll be back Friday the 10th, so you have to wait about two more weeks.
