Man I wanna know when these are gonna come out. I'm already super tempted to pull the trigger on the AKG 3003s and would love to hear the IE800s for myself before pulling the trigger on either ;).

My guess is, at the earliest in September after the IFA, but could well take till October/November, like with the IE8 back in 2008.

Well by November I should have more than enough mula to get these babies. You gonna be having a tour though James? I'd love to demo them before committing to such a pricy buy ;).

November? Too late. Iphone 5 is out next month. looks like my IE800 money is going to be redirected.

Interesting. Didn't know the iphone5 was coming out so soon. If anything I can't wait to get out of AT&Ts jailbird contract :P.

Doubtful. Fall release in is most likely. October or maybe September.

:-) To be clear, I was referring to the probable release date of the iPhone 5. I expect that the IE 800 will come out first but you never know.

It would be real neat if the IE800 could compete with the AKGs. The only problem I have with the AKG's at this point is how disjointed the mid-range and bass can be (the mid range is the bigger issue IMO though).

Any rumors when the Ipod 5 will makes its debut?

The IE800 does seem interesting. Just when I thought I found bliss with SM3, UM3x, EX1000 and FX700.

So you did get the FX700 :). Did you get them from that dealer I pointed you to? They seem to be more pricey these days though.

I trade single-name varswaps on apple and follow the company closely. Channel checks suggest the first week of September for the IP5
