Custom Cable for Sennheiser IE8

Hi Guys and Girls,

 

My stock cable for my Sennheiser IE8s broke and I bought an upgrade/custom cable for the IE8. I have a number of questions for all you Headfiers out there.

1. Anyone ever heard of/seen/bought/used this cable

2. If anyone has, can you give me a short review on how it sounds

3. What does it mean by 4 cores of wire. I also heard of an 8 core wire. What benefits does that have

4. Did I make a good choice

4 cores of wire, is most likely meaning it uses 4 cables for audio, 1 left, 1 right, 2 grounds, or rather, 1 left, 1 ground for the left termination, 1 right, and 1 ground for right termination. 8 core wire would be double for each. 
 

As far as having made a good choice, that all depends. It seems like a nice looking cable, and it will all depend on if its not just perceived quality in the build, but will actually hold up to time after time of use. The price doesn't seem too bad though, seems like just a tad more than a replacement stock cable.

it will probably last longer tahn my stock cable did as i bought an earphone case for on the go use.... just hope it lasts an average school day including the trains
