Verified sellers (for Fiio E6)?

Is there a thread that lists all of the online retailers that are confirmed to sell real products rather than fakes or imitations? I know that there is yelp for this kind of thing, but I'd prefer feedback from headfiers with experience from the retailer.

Right now I'm looking for a Fiio E6 at http://www.headphonebar.com/fiio-e6/ and but I'd like to know if they're a good retailer or not.

just buy it from amazon.

http://www.amazon.com/Fiio-E6-Headphone-Amplifier/dp/B005HJWWW8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1334272787&sr=8-1

PS: if this is spam, good job sir fooled me.

All of the amazon.com retailers either don't ship to Canada or they charge an extra $30-50, and amazon.ca goes by the general rule of 'add 50-100% to the amazon.com price'.

I have bought from headphonebar before and yes they are a legit and authorized Canadian retailer located in Vancouver. Headfoneshop is the other authorized Fiio retailer in Canada located in Toronto and I too have had good experience with them.

Here is headfoneshop's eshop website.

Hi, Im kinda new to this and bought one from amazon from a reseller but was fulfilled by amazon. I just got it but it looks extremely fake, the box says fiio but at the bottom it says "fujiyama headphone amplifier" and the box is blue unlike the white ones I see out there, does anyone know if it is fake? Thank you in advanced!

They are not fake. I actually just learned today that Fiio has been naming their amps with mountain names in addition to the model number, which is now printed on their newer packaging.

Thanks for the response kckc, I still have my doubts. is there anyway I can tell if this is fake?

Hmm, sorry I am not aware of any ways to tell fake and real e6 apart. How is the finish on the e6?

I actually just saw the new e6 packaging today, and if my memory serves me right, it is see through on the top half with the e6, and a picture of a mountain (with shade of blue) and the words fujiyama/model number

Yes, Mine has a shade of blue with a mountain on it and the finish on the e6 is glossy. but on the bottom of the front of the box it only says "fujiyama headphone amplifier" on the side it says E06. It just looks very different than the ones I have seen, The actual amplifier and the cables look and feel very good though. Again thank you for your time

I think you're good wink.gif.

It is the new packaging - they also added a mountain name (that I cannot remember, starts with a "k"..) on the E11 packing, which I also saw earlier today from an authorized Fiio dealer.

Enjoy your E6!

Thanks man, I was too afraid to try it thinking it can damage my headphones, I will just start with a crappy pair and if it sounds good then I will keep it. I also messaged fiio, hopefully they can explain what is going on. Thanks for the replies!

HEY OREMOR12 I know it's kind of late,  but I recently purchased the E6 with the fujiyama name and it's the most original one of the E6 out there, Did you check and scratch off the coating that is on the side of the package?, you will check and see if your product is authentic on the fiio official webpage!!!!
