Final Audio Design Heaven IV - Page 13

I thought the Adagio II, III bass was pretty extreme, however I might be acclimatised to too little bass at times.  The Adagio V is like GR07?  Hmm...

I'm not sure about this whole basshead scenario, apparently the Denon DX000 series is supposed to be basshead territory and suitable for electronic music like trance or w/e, and while I find the bass volume a bit elevated I'm not very keen it's err, quality...

Personally, I find the Adagio III to be an excellent bass IEM. Not sure if it's due to BAM, but I feel the bass in my ears like little puffs of air almost. It's fun... and not as fatiguing as it might seem.

Also yes, the Atrios are sub-bass kings. That to me makes them exceptional basshead IEMs.

IMHO, GR07 is an excellent earphone, it has everything you need, balance & neutral, but not outstandingly focus on certain spectrum.
It's kinda like Shure SRH840 & 940, they give you everything, but no extra.

While Adagio V offers more fun listening, it has more dynamic and forward treble, with good pace and impact.

To me, the Adagio V has a certain delicacy and finesse that is very unique.

I mean i have been offered them for $100 to review. Does that sound like a good deal?

I wish i had a nearby store like you were i could go demo earphones. The only opportunity i have his to buy or loan. :(

Hmm i may have to but the same place is offering me a review deal of SM3s for $350 now thats amazing. I think first i will finish off all my current reviews, sell all the IEMs i do not want and then hopefully afford them both as at the moment i can just about get the Vs.

I love how the Heaven IV thread is discussing everything but the Heaven IV. Cute.

"in typical FAD style it seemed to shine with vocals however they were a bit feathery, like an empty vessel of vocals, the rest of the spectrum and soundspace was quite 'light' as well, I think it would suit a particular genre or listening style quite well. Yeh that is with most earphones but it was more of a question of is for $100 worth a go?

I really just want to hear a FAD IEM as i have never heard one so yours and others comparisons leave me a bit hazed. Hwever from that they do sound enjoyable as a more pleasant earphone!

One thing about Final Audio is they all have some sort of a unique signature.
