Have you tried the re262?

Was just about to say:
Jeremy, never suggest any earphones to a basshead. Ever lol.

Jeremy, you tried the PFE's?

Etymotic mids are very nice but I still have not encountered mids that's have come close to my Aurisonics ASG-1s. It's peaked which but it just feels so right to me!

Well, I have friend who likes bass, so I use his opinions as reference sometimes ;). Yeah, tried the PFEs, but sounded quite thin

True, etymotic mids are good, but they don't sound as good from the likes of Shure and Westone etc. And the peak mids are what you call natural! :)

The JH13s are crying out for your attention in the distance.

No I don't think there natural. I said the feel and sound so right to me but they are not natural. I have not tried a single pair of westones but I did have a pair of shure Se420s but I just remember them being poor all round.

haha fair enough.

And the PFEs sounded thin hmm...kind of agree.

You tried the flagship 232's?

I don't agree on them being thin. They have no less body than ety mids. The mids are not quite as good as ety but they are far from bad or thin.

By the way, neutral does not = to natural. Well, to me anyways. Natural to me means sounding like a concert or speaker, akin to real life.

Yeah, tried the flagship 232s, just lacked the extension in the highs for me, sounding dark in return. But it's quite unfatiguing.

I think thin as in it just doesn't sound big, sounds small compared to Westone, Shure or even Etymotic. The mids are not thin, but overall highs and lows are. But maybe that's just the regular filters.

Westone's and Shure's sound fuller...I agree...but that's me comparing W2 & 3's and the se535's to the 1/2-1/4 priced 112's...+ the others listed are dual ba or triple ba.
