Yep i been looking at fiio amps. Now i cant decide between the e10, e7, and e11. Do i really need a dac if im mostly using computer, ipad/ipod? Because if i dont i think ill just get the e11.

If I were you, I would just get a FiiO E11 and a pair of Denon AH-D2000's.

How about HD558/598, they sound pretty good but they probably lack the sub-bass impact of the denons.

The iPad & iPod comes with built-in decent DACs, might as well get the Fiio E11 with a Fiio L cable.

Computer motherboards usually come with low cost DACs, If just for music, get the DAC Destroyer (USB/DAC), mine only cost me $48 off eBay.

Or for movies and gaming get the Asus Xonar DG (PCI) sound card.
