I have a Buck knife here :)

It was able to get the studs out that I wanted to get out

Some parts required me to smoothen the studs off and so I used the knife 'carefully'. It worked well.

Finally got to assemble the Sinanju, still in progress:

Nice, that's some shiny stuff!

Why does every Gunpla video I see use those graphy boxy sheets as the work area? Easy to see?

Its the Titanium Finish version, thats why its shiny. It can be done with a regular model, but needs a lot of paint + skills, which I don't have the money or patience for redface.gif.

The 'graphy box sheet' is not a sheet, its a cutting mat. Its good to use it when working with a cutter or knife, otherwise the table will have cut marks.

Oh I see

I just used some stuff on top of it to cut.

But you are right

Shouldn't be cutting on a $200 table.

What's the model name of the green four-winged one in Unicorn? The one where that red-haired cyber neotype or whatever used, before she was captured and got chucked into the Banshee?

SYMBOLISM! The only era of Gundam that somehow doesn't make me roll my eyes oddly enough; at least at this age. Back when SEED aired, I thought that was the shiet. Also I love elite mook Mobile Suits more than Gundams usually. It just feels empowering that there's this elite mook that can go toe to toe with a Gundam before Plot God decide to kill them. That and after what happens after that, when it's shown that the elite mook models are shown to guard the Final Castle of the Evil Space Empire and destroyed easily by the Hero Gundam. Destroy Gundam in SEED Destiny

Actually, while building the Sinanju, I noticed its a much better design than the Unicorn. Zeon suits are always a step ahead.

Though it always looks overly bulky IMO.

Yes, bulky but better built. The federation suits have one killer feature and a superbly talented pilot. Their Gundams are lean but not as powerful. Im assembling the legs now, and the skeleton is so much sturdier.

Waist, backpack, weapons and decals left.

*Takes a deep breath *

Its turning out to be a big one biggrin.gif I didn't know the Sinanju was so much bigger than the Unicorns!

Do you have the banshee and the sinanju at the same scale?

Yeah, both are 1/100.

Just checked, the full height of the Unicorn is 19.7m, whereas the Sinanju is 22.6m. Its a pretty big difference, not that noticeable in the anime.
