I usually don't like heavy hp's but I was fine with the he400. I was not remotely okay with the weight of the lcd2, if that helps.

Just bought a mesh-waste bin, thinking of modding the grills tonight, maybe. Funny thing is, as I was in the store I thought about these bins and how all of us, no matter where we live, can buy the exact same model of waste bin, made in china... just my thoughts at the store, anyway will try the mod soon, as I understand there is no need of fabric behind the actual grill?
ps. the weight of the he-400 is not a problem for me as well

Do you still have your HE-4? Or did you sale them already?
Thanks. I want to grab a used pair to try out.
Hey, I was just thinking while wearing a pair of maddogs how incredibly comfortable they are despite being almost they exact same weight as the the he400. I think that they are essentially the same weight...maybe the he400 being about 20 grams heavier. Of course the reason for the comfort with the maddog is almost exclusively due to the comfort strap.
So then it got me thinking...hmm...wait for it....comfort strap for the he400!! Time to mod.
How about this. Has anybody had any luck with it?

Make this happen!
That is pretty much what I have. The material quality isn't top notch, but it doesn't seem to want to tear. It makes such a difference in snugness and comfort, pretty much my 400's are as good as they can be once I mod the grills.

That's really deep. The global supply chains are quite amazing, and once in awhile you get to recognize that the world is actually pretty damn "small".
You people are making me want to mod my grills - stop.
Exactly.
I just came back home, will try the mod later and write to you guys.
You'll love it, mark my words.
