The COP has sort of a "live" sound like concert speakers for me. Anyone else has this feeling?

Hi,
The bass and treble of the COP is different than that of the DT990. The treble is smoother on the COP and is not as extended. It's also not as detailed and lacks some air. The bass is more full on the COP as well but lacks extension and control. To me the bass is thicker and is not as focussed. If you've heard the DT770 PRO 80Ohm then the bass of the COP is quite similar.
sorry if being annoying but, from what i understand the COP is more of a electronic - bass head headphone than the rest of the dt series? or have i understood wrong?

Quote:Well that depends on how you like your EDM to sound, I like very DARK Dub Step but I like more detailed and controlled Drum n Bass, so for me the COP could be a viable XB 700 replacement [although the Dt 1350 looks good to] still though for very mid bass heavy EDM as well as anything with nice vocals, I'd opt for the Dt 990 simply for the aditional detail and control!
But it's a matter of prefrance
